Now that the warm weather is here, I've switched the porridge for a more cooling oat & chia pudding. Easy to make, nutritious and high in fibre, you can add lots of different toppings to make each morning taste different.
3 tbsp of oats
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
150 ml of whole milk or your choice of plant-based milk
1 tbsp of maple syrup
Place all the ingredients in a jar, mix well and put in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.
The oat & chia pudding will be ready to eat as soon as you're up and ready to start the day.
I served it with berries, a dollop of yogurt and a bit of honey but feel free to add any other fruits, nuts or seeds of your choice. Enjoy!!!
